Benefits

Paid Time Off (PTO) |
Paid time off is a bank of hours to be used for vacations, illness and personal business. |

Medical Insurance |
Team Members are eligible for coverage the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Team Members may elect either the Preferred Provider Plan or the High Deductible Plan. |

Dental Insurance |
Team Members are eligible for coverage effective the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Plan includes coverage for preventative care and major services. |
|
Vision Insurance |
Basic coverage is an allowance of $200 for prescription lenses, frames or contact lenses and a 20% discount off balance over allowance. |

401(k) Retirement Plan |
Team members are automatically enrolled with a deferral of 4%. Deferrals can be made in amounts of 1% - 50% of compensation and may be allocated to any of our 16 investments options and may be changed at any time. A Roth (post-tax) option is available. Employee deferrals are eligible for a Company match at 100% of the first 4% of compensation and are 100% vested in the matching contribution immediately. |

Profit Sharing |
Placon Team Members are eligible to receive if they are employed as of December 31. Annually, Team Members may elect to take profit sharing in cash, or may choose to defer into their 401(k) account. |

Educational Assistance |
The Educational Assistance Program provides financial support for employees who wish to expand their capabilities and enhance job productivity. Financial assistance for undergraduate and graduate education is available. |

Disability |
Placon provides compensation for Team Members if they become totally disabled due to a short or long term non-occupational injury. |

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA's) -- IRS Section 125 Plan |
Three flexible spending accounts are available to put pre-tax dollars aside for reimbursement of eligible expenses within that calendar year. Insurance Premium Account - if Team Members elect health, dental, vision insurance the premiums are automatically deducted from payroll on a pre-tax basis. Dependent Care Account - Team Members can defer up to $5000 for dependent care expenses each year on a pre-tax basis. Unreimbursed Medical / Dental Account - Team Members can elect to put money aside pre-tax to pay for deductibles, co-pays or other eligible expenses which are not covered by their health, dental or vision insurance. |

Holidays |
Placon has nine paid holidays designated at the beginning of each calendar year. |

Life Insurance |
Placon pays 100% of the monthly premium for term life insurance. Team Members may elect to pay for additional term life insurance coverage. If Team Members elect additional coverage for themselves, they may also elect spouse/dependent coverage. |

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) |
Safety Shoes - if Team Members are required to wear safety shoes, an account will be established with an initial credit and will be replenished yearly. Safety Glasses – if a Team Member is required to wear safety glasses and prescription glasses are needed, the Company will provide reimbursement up to allowable amounts. |

This program is designed to provide confidential professional assistance to employees and their eligible dependents in dealing with personal problems that may influence health, well-being or work effectiveness. |
