EcoStar Materials

EcoStar Plastics, a Placon Company, is a recycler and manufacturer of post-consumer recycled PET bottles and thermforms. EcoStar reclaims and purchases plastic bottles and mixed bales of post-consumer thermforms, diverting them from landfill waste streams and converting them into EcoStar materials with up to 100% post-consumer recycled content.

EcoStar features 2 main product lines: quality recycled flake for fiber, bottles and/or extrusion uses as well as premium extruded PET sheet designed for consumer packaging, direct food contact, print and heat sealable thermoform packaging purposes.

EcoStar PET Sheet. EcoStar PET sheet is available in PC50 RPET (post-consumer recycled PET) and FDA LNO (Letter of No-Objection) approved for direct food contact sheet (RPET-F) with a minimum of 50% post-consumer recycled content. EcoStar also offers print-grade and heat-sealable sheet in addition to custom blends.

EcoStar PET Flake. All EcoStar flake consists of 100% post-consumer recycled content. EcoStar offers fiber-grade, bottle-grade, direct food contact grade as well as High-IV recycled PET flake depending on your application and processing requirements.
