Placon was one of first thermoformers to receive ISO certification, way back in 1995. Today, we’re pursuing ISO 14001 certification for environmental management systems. 

Our excellent quality systems are designed to service customers efficiently. We employ leading-edge technologies and automation systems that result in highly repeatable processes and excellent quality parts. It’s why we’re an approved and certified supplier for many major medical companies. Our customers agree, as we consistently exhibit excellent performance on their internal quality audits.

Clean Room
A newly constructed Class 100,000 (ISO 8) clean room contains a state-of-art large-bed roll-fed thermoformer dedicated to medical production. It offers the latest in robotic take-off and automation. Thermoformed product transfers from the highly controlled clean room environment, through an interlock, to the surrounding white room where final packaging occurs.
